Susan Ransom

     Pastel Portrait Artist

Aware at the youngest age that the human face and figure are endlessly curious and compelling, Susan Ransom has devoted her days to re-creating them on paper. Pastels are her chosen medium. Her style is a blend of classical and impressionist.

Susan has completed over 150 commissioned portraits for clients in the USA and Europe. While most of her portraits go directly from studio to client, she has entered some in juried shows, both national and international. In each case, Susan has won major awards, including Best of Show.
